Terms of Use

Read this first. Creaturez of Sherwood is a collectible on-chain game and an internet meme. It is not an investment, not a financial product, and not a business that owes you a return. Nothing here is worth money to you by promise. If you are looking for yield, this is not that, and you should close this page.

1. Accepting these terms

By opening this site, connecting a wallet, minting, holding, feeding, exploring, evolving, claiming or trading anything connected to Creaturez of Sherwood (the “Project”), you accept these terms in full. If any part of them is unacceptable to you, do not use the Project.

2. What this is

The Project is a game. It consists of digital collectibles, an ecosystem token, and smart contracts that let those collectibles progress. It is entertainment and collecting. It is published for its own sake, without any promise that it will grow, continue, be maintained, or produce anything of value.

The Project is not: a security, a share, a bond, a fund, a collective investment scheme, a deposit, a loan, a derivative, an e-money product, a managed account, a pooled investment, or any other regulated financial instrument. No part of it is a claim on any company, its revenue, its assets or its profits.

3. No advice of any kind

Nothing on this site, in the contracts, in the documentation, in any social account, chat channel or message from anyone associated with the Project is financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a recommendation to acquire or dispose of anything. Decide for yourself, and take professional advice if you need it.

4. The token

The ecosystem token exists to be spent inside the game. It carries no rights: no ownership, no dividend, no revenue share, no governance, no redemption and no claim against anyone. Its price, if it has one, is set by third parties on markets we do not control and cannot influence. It may be worth nothing at any time, including immediately after you acquire it. We do not promise, project, target or imply any price or value.

5. The creaturez

Creature NFTs are digital collectibles recorded on Robinhood Chain. Holding one gives you the token itself and a personal, non-exclusive licence to display the associated artwork. It gives you no equity, no revenue right and no claim on the Project or anyone behind it. Supply, rarity and mechanics may be described in good faith and still change before launch.

6. Rewards are not a yield

The Project may distribute assets from a finite pool to creaturez that are active in the game. Understand clearly what that is and is not:

It is a game mechanic, not interest, not a dividend and not a return on an investment.
The pool is finite. It pays out a fraction of whatever it happens to hold and may be empty, near-empty or never funded.
Distributions may fall over time, may be paused, may be changed, and may stop entirely and permanently without notice.
Nothing obliges anyone to fund, refill or maintain the pool at any level, ever.
Any figure shown anywhere — including in the demo, which is a simulation with invented numbers — is illustrative only and is not a forecast, a target or a promise.

You should expect to receive nothing, and to lose whatever you spend.

7. Smart contract and technology risk

The contracts may be unaudited. Smart contracts can contain bugs, can be exploited, and can behave in ways nobody intended. Blockchains, sequencers, bridges, wallets, marketplaces and RPC providers can fail, censor, halt, reorganise or lose data. Transactions are irreversible. Assets sent to a wrong address, or lost with a lost key, are gone permanently and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. You accept all of this risk yourself.

8. All transactions are final

There are no refunds, reversals, cancellations or chargebacks for anything: mints, token purchases, feeding, evolving, or any other action. Every action costs network fees that are not recoverable, including for transactions that fail.

9. Eligibility and your own laws

You confirm you are of legal age where you live, that you are not acting on behalf of anyone else, and that using the Project is lawful for you. You confirm you are not subject to sanctions and are not located in a sanctioned jurisdiction. Rules on digital assets differ widely and change often; keeping to the ones that apply to you is entirely your responsibility. We may restrict access from any jurisdiction at any time.

10. Taxes

Any tax arising from anything you do here is yours to determine, declare and pay. We do not provide tax reporting, statements or records, and we take no responsibility for your position.

11. Not affiliated with Robinhood

The Project is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any of its group companies. Robinhood Chain is used as public infrastructure, nothing more. All third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

12. Provided as-is, and may simply stop

Everything is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy and non-infringement. The site, the game, the rewards and any support may be modified, suspended, degraded or discontinued at any time, for any reason, without notice and without liability. Roadmaps describe intentions, not commitments, and may be abandoned.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, nobody involved in the Project — its creators, contributors, operators or their affiliates — is liable to you for any loss of funds, tokens, NFTs, profits, opportunity, data or goodwill, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, arising from or connected to the Project, however caused, even if warned such loss was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the greater of the amount you paid directly to the Project in the preceding thirty days, or one hundred United States dollars.

14. You cover us

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Project’s creators, contributors and operators against any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Project, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.

15. Community content and conduct

Anything posted in community channels is the responsibility of whoever posted it. We do not endorse it and do not verify it. Impersonation, fraud and market manipulation are grounds for removal. Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone, for any reason. Nobody legitimate will ever ask for it.

16. Changes

These terms may change. The current version is always the one on this page, and continuing to use the Project after a change means you accept it.

17. Severability and governing law

If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Governing law and the forum for disputes are to be confirmed before launch.
